Becoming a registered specialist is no small feat. In the UK, dentists must undergo extensive postgraduate training and education to be recognised as a specialist. This typically includes:

Completing a minimum of 3 years of full-time postgraduate clinical training at a recognised institution (such as the Eastman Dental Institute)

Gaining a Master’s level qualification in Periodontology

Demonstrating clinical excellence and professional integrity through assessment and examination

Gaining Membership in Periodontics with the Royal College of Surgeons of England

Submitting to a detailed evaluation and registration process with the GDC
Dr Delaunay has not only met these high standards—he has excelled throughout his journey. After qualifying in France, he earned his Master’s in Clinical Dentistry in Periodontology from the prestigious Eastman Dental Institute and has been actively involved in clinical practice, research, and volunteer work ever since.
With this registration, Bruno is now formally recognised as a highly skilled and trusted expert in the field of periodontics, offering specialist-level care in gum disease management and dental implants.
