Chong, our implant surgeon, and periodontist has been on the GDC specialist list since 1999. For the last three decades, he has been collaborating with dental professionals in centres of excellence in Singapore, Harley Street and for the last 20 years, in the Richmond, Kew and Twickenham area.

Chong is well-respected by his colleagues and known as much for his implant and periodontal expertise as for his consistent professional ethics. Chong received rigorous international training in the early ‘90s and is experienced in implant surgery and other advanced implant augmentation procedures, such as bone grafting and sinus augmentation, which help us achieve optimal clinical success.

He is also heavily involved in training colleagues who are interested in improving their skills in these areas. In addition to always learning, he actively supports continuing professional development for his colleagues and is involved in the provision of postgraduate implant education. Chong lectures regularly, both nationally and internationally, and is an accredited speaker for the ITI, the AIC, and national dental study clubs and associations. He is also an accredited implant mentor for the ITI and Straumann. Chong’s involvement in post graduate education is recognised with the admission to the EFP Alumni and he was also awarded the status of ‘Fellow’ of the ITI-the largest independent, international education and research organisation in dental implantology. 

Chong has various academic post-graduate teaching posts. He is a  Hon. Associate Professor(Eastman Dental Institute, UCL),  Consultant at University College Hospital London and a Clinical Lecturer for the Master of Science (Dental Implantology ) at the University of Bristol.
