Graduating from the University of Hong Kong, Manuel has remained dedicated to his professional development, earning qualifications including Fellowship in Prosthodontics and Membership in Implant Dentistry in Royal Colleges. His commitment to excellence led him to complete the MSc in Conservative Dentistry at the renowned UCL Eastman Dental Institute, where he graduated with distinction.

Manuel is actively involved in postgraduate dental education as a Lecturer in Prosthodontics at the Eastman Dental Institute. He lectures regularly not only at local level, but also at both national and international levels. He is also a Royal College examiner and an Advisory Board Member in Implant Dentistry, contributing to the maintenance of high standards in implant dentistry. In addition to these academic roles, he works as a Specialty Doctor at Eastman Dental Hospital, where he manages complex dental and implant cases referred to the hospital and supervises postgraduate trainees.

Manuel is a strong advocate of minimally invasive dentistry and holistic, patient-centred treatment planning. His calm and caring approach often puts patients at ease, helping them feel informed, comfortable and confident throughout their treatment journey. His advanced training enables him to accept referrals for complex implant prosthodontic procedures as well as comprehensive rehabilitation for toothwear. His clinical expertise includes aesthetic dentistry, management of tooth wear and parafunction, implant prosthodontics, and implant-related mechanical complications.
